In fact, Have you ever wondered why being scared makes your heart beat faster and makes you breathe quicker? The body's reaction to fear is called the "fight or flight" response. And people have had it since the beginning of time.
Here's how it works. Imagine you're a caveman or cavewoman alive 100,000 years ago — and you come face to face with a hungry saber-toothed tiger. You have two choices: 1) Run for it (that's flight), or 2) pick up your club and battle with the tiger (that's fight). A final choice (be eaten) doesn't seem like such a good one!

Today, you can apply fight or flight to that bully who confronts you and won't listen to reason. You have two choices: 1) Turn and walk away (flight), or 2) fight, even though you know fighting won't solve the problem.

http://kidshealth.org/kid/feeling/emotion/afraid.html

AsyrafMarzuki89http://www.blogger.com/profile/15964811736458126030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6754463354641503964.post-43085921044792475832009-03-11T14:50:00.000-07:002009-04-09T12:27:41.922-07:00Tigermention about tiger would make you think that this kind of animal is really frightening one.But do you know about its scientific name or what is so special about it.Take a look at this...

The tiger (Panthera tigris) is a member of the Felidae family; the largest of the four "big cats" in the genus Panthera. Native to much of eastern and southern Asia, the tiger is an apex predator and an obligate carnivore. Studies do find a relationship between violent television watching and behavior.

Women are often portrayed as weaker characters that are helpless or sexually provocative.

Game environments are often based on plots of violence, aggression and gender bias.

Many games only offer an arena of weapons, killings, kicking, stabbing and shooting.

Playing violent video games may be related to aggressive behavior (Anderson & Dill, 2000; Gentile, Lynch & Walsh, 2004). Questions have been raised about early exposure to violent video games.

Many games do not offer action that requires independent thought or creativity.

Games can confuse reality and fantasy.

In many violent games, players must become more violent to win. In "1st person" violent video games the player may be more affected because he or she controls the game and experiences the action through the eyes of his or her character.

Academic achievement may be negatively related to over-all time spent playing video games. There are several similarities and differences between the old version radio and the new version radio. We will discuss them brightly but instead of their functions.

The first similarity is both still use electricity especially alkaline battery as primary source of energy to functioning the device.Related to the old version of radio which certainly used battery but nowadays, the production of latest radios can be seen which they still use of battery. In fact, there are so many other sources of energy that can be used such as solar energy instead of chemistry energy source.

Second one is both has become one of the important devices in their own time. For example, if we turning back to previous time, radio has become an interesting device in side of fitting people's free time after television. So, it is proved that how it can developed or advanced so fast.So this is the best answer for this.

Besides that, there are also some differences between both of them. The first one is the antique radio is made of wood while the latest one is made of plastic. This must be caused of the progressiveness of the radio itself which means technology today has invented so many new things that use of advance chemistry knowledge or so forth.

The other difference is the size of the latest radio is smaller than the old version radio. This due to the electronic things in the antique radio is too many so that they need to build it larger than the latest version radio which electronic circuit in the radio has become smaller.

For conclusion, latest radio is the best one as it has progressed a lot and much better than the antique radio. In some cases, old version radio also has their own special features that latest radio don't have. That's make them special.AsyrafMarzuki89http://www.blogger.com/profile/15964811736458126030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6754463354641503964.post-45062306494714421112009-02-14T22:58:00.000-08:002009-02-14T23:32:03.273-08:00What is make a good PowerPoint presentation?

slide structure must be properly manages

-basically use of point is better than a sentence.so, audience will just not read the slide but they rather hear your elaboration
-show only a point at a time
-do not show to much animation

fonts

-use different fonts for main points or secondary point
-use common font such as Times New Roman

colour
-using a font colour that contrast with the background colour is hard to read
-try to use different colour for different point for example to differentiate between main point and second point

Background
-use a background that has light colour
-background that is attractive but simple

graph
-always name your graph

spelling and grammar
-always has someone to check for your language if you are weak at that

Simply provide a question for your audience

-don't ever end your slide abruptly

void using flashy transition such as text fly-ins.

-these features may be impressive at first but may also distracting

use the limit of slides

-more slides will make audience boring
-a good one is one slide per minutes

use proper sentence headlines on presentation slides

-this could ensure audience clears about the topic that you had chosen to elaborate about

AsyrafMarzuki89http://www.blogger.com/profile/15964811736458126030noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6754463354641503964.post-66120176390122342332009-02-14T22:25:00.000-08:002009-03-04T11:33:22.083-08:00History of swordsmanhttp://www.trueswords.com/samurai_history.php

A swordsman is the warrior that was trained in variety of fighting skills.Including the skill of fighting with arm , fighting unarmed, using horse, and so on.They were called "bushido" which in Japanese word, "bushi" means warrior while "do" means the way.
The elite Samurai warrior trained for many years in the art "Bujutsu".
